Pride

Something that ive done to make me proud of myself is when i made dinner for my family last thursday night. I never, ever, ever cook food, unless its made in the toaster or microwave or is a frozen pizza. But on thursday i decided i would help my mom out and cook dinner. The only problem was, i had no idea how to cook pork chops. So i called my mom and she gave me directions and i took notes while she was talking. so lame, i know. But i was determined to make a real dinner. Fortunately, my terriyaki pork chops came out delicious and the broccoli was good too. Even though it seems like such a small thing, making dinner for everyone made me feel really accomplished. Now i think ill cook dinner more often. :)
